Showdown

This is a contest entry for "Gaggle of Turians" [link] . Pencil and pencil crayons were used. The piece includes Lorik Qui'in and another mass effect turian character. I used this [link] as a reference for the mass effect characters so I could get the details right. The details are the devil with these characters. I also included my own original character, Millipod who is based on a millipede (hence the name). The picture depicts Millipod in danger of his life as the two turians advance on him. As per usual, I sketched out the scene in my mind first. I also thought about the shading beforehand. I tried lineless shading and overall the outlines are visible and not confused so that was a success. This is my first piece of game art in my deviantart gallery and deserves some celebration. Total around 4 hours.
